Lori Mccain
A native of Massachusetts, after graduating from the University of Massachusetts with a BA in Economics, Lori began a career combining her skills in sales, people management and analytics with her love of fashion. She joined Jordan Marsh’s Executive Training Program and became a Sales Manager in one of the most prominent departments in the store: Men’s Accessories. Lori was quickly promoted to Associate Buyer in New York City. She continued combining her love of fashion and her skills in analytics as a planner for Liz Claiborne and then an Associate Buyer for Footlocker. Lori supported a $42 million business and regularly met with key athletic vendors including Nike, Adidas, Reebok, Puma and Fila. Ultimately promoted to Buyer at Footlocker, Lori developed a private label athletic apparel for a 704-store chain. She participated in design, fabrications, specifications, and color decisions for all private label programs and was responsible for monthly open-to-receive, quarterly budget meetings with senior management and product line reviews. Lori also attended trade shows and shopped domestic and international fashion markets for trends. While in this role, Lori’s division grossed $20 million in sales for Footlocker.
After she married and started a family, Lori also launched a new business: Andrade-McCain Real Estate, once again merging her skills in customer service and sales. Lori conceived the company concept, established the sales office, and studied the economic environment, local neighborhoods, and housing trends. She generated property lists that aligned with buyers’ needs and financial limitations, and marketed properties by creating appealing advertisements and conducting competitive market analysis.
Additionally, Lori has always been active in the Parent’s Associations at her two son’s schools. Eventually, she was recruited to become a part time fundraiser for the American Heart Association and enjoyed teaching children about healthy eating and exercising all while raising funds for a very good cause.
Lori finds joy in traveling, interior design, golfing, working out, and, most importantly, spending time with family and friends.
She is proud to be part of a large and close knit family with origins in the Cape Verde Islands on the West Coast of Africa.
Lori is excited to venture into the executive search arena, once again utilizing her analytical, people and creative marketing skills.
